Privacy

Homequarter holds a business's context so an agent can act on it. This is what that means for the data involved.

What we store

  • Your account — the email addresses you sign in with, your password as a hash, your time zone, and which businesses you belong to.
  • Your business's content — the systems it runs and their overviews, its people directory, its connections, and the processes it runs.
  • Chat transcripts — what you say to hq and what it says back, including the tool calls it made, kept so a conversation can be continued and looked back on.
  • Connected-tool credentials — the OAuth tokens a connection needs, encrypted at rest, one set per person or per business.
  • An activity ledger — a record of what was done in a business, and by whom.

Google user data

When you connect a Google account, Homequarter asks for the scopes the connection needs and nothing else. It uses what it receives only to act on your behalf inside the business you connected it for: reading and writing the files and mail you ask hq to work with, and recording in the activity ledger that it did.

We do not sell Google user data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models. Nobody at Homequarter reads it except where you ask us to help with a specific problem, or where the law requires it.

Homequarter's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

QuickBooks data

When a business connects QuickBooks, Homequarter asks Intuit for the accounting scope and nothing else. It uses what it receives only to act inside the business that connected it: reading and writing the books the people of that business ask hq to work with, and recording in the activity ledger that it did. The connection is the business's, made by an admin; who may use it, and for which endpoints, is set by that admin.

We do not sell QuickBooks data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models. The OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown to the assistant or to anyone. Disconnecting QuickBooks — here, or from inside QuickBooks — ends our access; what was recorded in the ledger stays with the business.

Who can see what

Data belongs to the business it was added to. Within a business, what each person's agent can reach is set by an admin, tool by tool. A connection made with your own account acts as you and reaches only what that account already reaches.

Who we share it with

To answer you, hq sends the relevant parts of a conversation and its context to the model provider that runs the assistant. We use infrastructure and email providers to run the service. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Removing it

Disconnecting a tool deletes its stored credential. Deleting a connection, a page, a process or a conversation deletes it. To have an account or a whole business removed, write to [email protected] and we will do it.
